Allaah Gave Us This Food

The Ahadeeth tell us what we must recite Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem (In the Name of Allaah, The Most Beneficent, The Most Merciful.) before we begin eating.

If we think about it, when we recite Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem, we get lots of reward from Allaah and at the same time, we also get to think of Allaah.

In fact, the purpose of reciting Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem is to remind us that it is Allaah Who gave us this food and not my effort and intelligence.

I should remember that it is not possible for me to arrange for this food to come to me and to satisy my hunger. It is only by the kindness of Allaah that I have this food to eat.

  2. It is often easy to take things like food for granted, thought they are not. I was talking about this with my husband the other day and he told me this sentence should be said before you eat, so your remember Allah is great.
This is another reminder, surely means I should introduce this slowly in my routine.
Thanks a million - Be blessed.

  6. Alhamdulillah I always say it , and when I forgot I say " BismiAllah Awaluhu wa Akhiruhu " , we must eat by the right Hand and say Bismillaahi Arrahmaani Arraheem , because if we didn't say it or if we eat by left hand Shitan will eat with us and never feel full .
